It seems as if everything these days has a celebration. January 31st is National Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. March 26 is Make Your Own Holiday Day. December 8th is Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day.
These days are all silly, but there are plenty of days and weeks that are actually important to celebrate.
This week, we are celebrating National Bus Safety and Driver Appreciation Week.
Why is this important? Because bus drivers are EXTREMELY important!
Without bus drivers, hundreds of kids would have no way to get to school. Field trips would not be possible. There would be no way for kids to get back home after school.
Bus drivers are the backbone of how schools are able to function. Without school bus drivers, it would be impossible for all children to get to school and back again.
Thank you to every bus driver out there! You are not thanked enough.
